Concert Series
Established in 1987, St. Peter's Concert Series is committed to bringing world renowned artists and regional talent to the Finger Lakes.
This organization is supported in part with public funds from the New York State Council of the Arts Decentralization Program, which is administered locally by Phelps Historical Society and Phelps Arts Center.

Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 7:30 p.m.
“Basically Broadway” is a concert featuring local vocalists in a celebration of the best of Broadway. This benefit concert for the St. Peter’s Community Arts Academy is sure to be a showstopper. You will hear performances given by Angela Libertella, Liz Howard, Bob Cowles, Suzanne Murphy, Michael Roller, Wendra Trowbridge, Charles King, Abigail Adams DuPrau, Michael Witter, Stan Weaver, Kelly Witter, John Cunningham, Jessica Kinsey and Sara Lawler accompanied by pianist Troy Slocum.
The concert will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices are $15.00 for Adults, $12.00 for Senior Citizens and
Students, and Children under 12 are free accompanied by an adult.
Sunday, October 3, 2010 at 3:00 p.m.
“In the Spring of Life” is a collaborative concert given by Soprano, Suzanne Murphy and Pianist Troy Slocum. Suzanne is a member of the Voice faculty at Hobart and William Smith Colleges and the St. Peter’s Community Arts Academy. She is also a music teacher in the Geneva City Schools. Her collaborative partner, pianist Troy Slocum, is on the faculty of Hobart and William Smith Colleges and the St. Peter’s Community Arts Academy.
The Concert will feature songs about springtime and childhood. The concert is FREE and OPEN to the public

“Sounds of Christmas Concert” Celebrate the Christmas season with the choirs of the St. Peter’s Community Arts Academy and St. Peter’s Church. The St. Nicholas, Junior, and Senior Community Choirs under the direction of Wendra Trowbridge will be joined by the St. Peter’s Church Adult Mixed Choir under the direction of MaryAnn Hamilton
The “Sounds of Christmas” showcases everything from holiday
favorites to the cathedral classics that will be sure to brighten
your holiday spirits. Make this annual festive celebration held
at St. Peter’s Church a part of your family’s holiday tradition.
The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, December 4th, 2009. Ticket prices are $7.00 for Adults, $6.00 for Senior Citizens and Students and Children under 12 are free accompanied by an adult.

“Grand Night For Singing” An Evening of Dining and Entertainment
provided by St. Peter’s Community Senior (Teen) Choir who will be going on their European Concert Tour in February 2011.

of scenes from famous musical productions.
Tickets for Dinner and Entertainment:

“Heart Strings” and “Violin and Piano” are a collaborative concerts given by Julianna Gray and Troy Slocum. Julianna is a member of the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra and
an instructor at the St. Peter’s Community Arts Academy. She
is a graduate of Ithaca College with a Masters Degree in Violin Performance and Suzuki Pedagogy. Her collaborative partner, pianist Troy Slocum, is on the faculty of Hobart and William Smith Colleges and the St. Peter’s Community Arts Academy.
The concert will feature selections from the violin and piano
repertoire. The concert will be held on Sunday, March 7th, 2010
at 3:00 p.m. and is FREE and OPEN to the public.

“Spring Sing” Join the choirs of St. Peter’s Community Arts Academy and
St. Peter’s Church as they present their final concert of the season. The evening begins with a delicious Chicken Barbecue on the lawn of St. Peter’s Church from 5 to 7 p.m. followed by the concert at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 4, 2010.
Tickets for the chicken barbecue are $7.00 and the
children’s hot dog meals are $3.00.
Concert ticket prices are $7.00 for Adults, $6.00 for Senior Citizens and Students, and Children under 12 are free. For tickets and more information, please call 789-0106.
